1966 - First kidney transplantation from a living donor in Italy, with the collaboration of the Prof. P. Stefanini

1966 - First European xenotransplantation from a monkey to a Human with the Prof. P. Stefanini

1966 - First kidney transplantation from a corpse in Italy with the Prof. P. Stefanini

1966-1974 - 16 kidney transplantations operated, 3 of these actually functioning

1975-1980 - Autonomous execution of transplantations

1980-1987 - 34 kidney transplantation operated in the Institute of Clinical Surgery of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”

1985 - He participated in the heart transplantation coordination activity for the Transplantation Center of the Center-South of Italy

1987-2003 - 431 kidney transplantations operated from corpses and 40 kidney transplantations operated from living donors in the S. Eugenio Hospital, in the new Transplantation Center of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. Clinic experimental trial on the use of anticorpse monoclonal radiomarked in immunoscintigraphy and in radioimmunoguided surgery in patients suffering of cancer

1992-2003 - 258 liver transplantations operated in the S. Eugenio Hospital of Rome
