Principal goals are:

• to promote and develop organ donation;
• to promote cooperation and integration among authorized transplantations agencies;
• to develop a common services center and to resolve problems and deficiencies existing in the Lazio Region;
• to promote scientific research in the field of blood drawing and organ and tissue transplantations;
• to train and up-date -directly or in cooperation with Universities and other Bodies- the medical, technical and nursing staff;

The Agency, moreover, carries out activities which aim to sensitize public opinion to the moral and social value of donation, acting also in collaboration with other agencies and volunteer Associations by means of information campaigns, conferences, workshops, seminars and other initiatives.
